Classroom News:
* The bridge projects were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Each child got to present their masterpieces and tell about their bridge! To the people that chose to "create" a bridge... WOWIE! WOW! WOW! We needed a bigger classroom for all the displays! Well done! I took pictures as each child presents their project. I will send them once they are all finished!
* Each child voted for their favorite NBA team to win the championship when the NBA play-offs first started. We have a bulletin board of each round. Avianna Cocozza is the only one in the running! She chose the Denver Nuggets, nobody chose the Miami Heat! Good luck to Avianna heading into the championship series!
* Script- After a few weeks of script being optional we are now moving into script only. Please continue to work on the art of script at home if you feel your child is having a tough time. We have a script workbook in class that we started using since the beginning of the year. We will continue to work in it.

If your child missed any of the 4 MAP components there will be make-ups. Mrs Mincher will take some children starting tomorrow to make up any parts missed. They may miss classwork completed in class while they are out.
We completed the reading component yesterday and the science component today. We are officially done!

IMPORTANT-
Parents,
Students may use erasable pens for all subjects EXCEPT for Math. Pen can be used in the classroom, for homework, and projects. Always use a pencil in Math! All students should have 2 erasable pens (black or blue) by now. Erasable pens were included on the beginning of school supply list. It has been on the homework site all week. The kids are just getting used to writing in pen! How exciting!! No "clicking pens" please! They will be sent home since it disrupts valuable learning time.
